Overview and Strengths

Howie has developed deep expertise as a trusted thought partner through 25 years of coaching and counselling people in a variety of settings, including private industry, human capital consulting firms, and post-secondary institutions. He is an active listener, and astute observer, and strives to be compassionately objective in his approach to working through individual and organizational issues. His engaging coaching style, diverse work/life experiences, and his ability to pair humour with cutting edge research are key aspects his approach to supporting individuals.

During his career, he has helped coach hundreds of people through a range of workplace issues including imposter syndrome, managing up, career management, and conflict. He is an active contributor to PeopleTalk Magazine, an aspiring podcaster, and regularly gives his time to organizations and individuals in need of his expertise.
