Randa MacNaughton
ACC, PCC
Leadership, Coaching & Talent Consultant
Overview and Strengths
While many coaching approaches focus primarily on goals, performance, behaviour, or outcomes, Randa’s coaching addresses a deeper question: Who is the leader becoming while pursuing those outcomes? Which is why Randa believes that exceptional leadership starts with character. While skills, knowledge, and experience matter, it is a leader’s character that builds trust, shapes culture, influences decisions, and inspires others to perform at their best.
Her coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that leadership character is the foundation of effective leadership, engaged employees, and thriving organizations. Whether leading from a formal position or through influence, leaders who demonstrate strong character create environments where people feel valued, empowered, and motivated to contribute.
As a coach and consultant, Randa partners with leaders and teams to navigate complexity, embrace change, and strengthen organizational culture. She helps clients deepen their self-awareness, challenge assumptions, leverage their strengths, and address areas for growth so they can lead with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Randa’s approach combines thoughtful reflection with practical action. She creates a supportive yet challenging coaching environment where clients can explore opportunities, confront obstacles, and translate insights into meaningful results. Her work is guided by four principles:
– Coaching as a trusted partnership rooted in the leader’s character, virtues, values, and aspirations
– Building self-awareness to strengthen decision-making, relationships, and leadership effectiveness
– Leveraging strengths of character while intentionally developing growth areas
– Creating clear actions and accountability that translate personal growth into measurable impact
With extensive experience in organizational development as both an internal leader and external consultant, Randa has worked with executives, leaders, and teams across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. She has supported organizations through leadership development, culture transformation, strategic change, and team effectiveness initiatives, helping individuals and organizations achieve sustainable high performance.
Clients value Randa’s ability to create psychological safety while asking the questions that matter most. Known for her empathy, insight, and ability to quickly identify underlying issues, she serves as a trusted thought partner who helps leaders gain perspective, make sound decisions, and lead authentically. Her goal is to help clients show up as the best version of themselves while achieving meaningful success and fulfillment in their leadership journey.
Outside of her professional work, Randa enjoys exploring new cuisines and creating recipes in her kitchen. She treasures time spent with family and friends and loves discovering new places through travel with her husband.
