Rehana Doobay is a strategic human resources executive, board advisor, and executive coach who partners with leaders and organizations to build cultures, leadership capability, and systems that enable sustainable performance. Rehana’s career spans global financial services, healthcare, and retail organizations where she has led large-scale transformation, succession strategy, and cultural evolution across complex, highly regulated environments. With more than two decades of executive experience, she brings a unique perspective that integrates enterprise strategy, organizational effectiveness, and human-centered leadership.

Rehana is also a certified executive coach who works with senior leaders navigating growth, transition, and complexity. Her coaching focuses on helping leaders develop clarity, strengthen leadership presence, and build organizations capable of lasting impact.

Rehana is widely recognized for her ability to guide organizations through transformation while strengthening leadership capability and cultural alignment. She has advised senior executives and boards across complex, highly regulated industries.

Most recently, Rehana served as Head of Human Resources for Canada at Baxter Corporation, where she led enterprise HR strategy and integrated Total Rewards, Talent, Environmental Health & Safety, and Facilities functions to support operational excellence and growth. She also served as Global HR Leader for Baxter’s Worldwide Medical Function, partnering with global executives to align talent strategy, compensation frameworks, and organizational capability with evolving business priorities.

Earlier in her career, Rehana held senior executive roles at Shoppers Drug Mart and American Express, where she led large-scale initiatives in leadership development, succession planning, organizational design, and diversity and inclusion. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening leadership effectiveness while aligning talent strategy with business outcomes.

In addition to her executive leadership experience, Rehana brings significant governance expertise. She currently serves as Director and Human Resources Committee Chair at CAA, and previously served as Human Resources Committee Chair, Board Chair of Yellow BrickHouse and 360Kids.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Behavioural Sciences, she is a Certified Executive Coach. She also holds the CHRP designation and has completed executive education programs at the University of Michigan and the Rotman School of Management. She successfully completed the Directors Education and Chairing Boards programs through the Institute of Corporate Directors.
