Overview

Steve Gazzard is deeply committed to his clients’ success, balancing his approach with kindness, humor, and genuine curiosity. Expect a blend of challenge and compassion, along with a relentless focus on development objectives.

He is a skilled executive coach, trained by Adler and the University of Toronto and holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation with the International Coaching Federation.

Steve has over 20 years of experience with clients across North America in finance and insurance, petrochemical, nuclear, health care, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer packaged goods. He is also proud of his work with the Norwegian Refugee Council and United Nations Development Programme.

While Steve has worked with all levels of management, his current work is with mid and senior level leaders.

The cornerstone of Steve’s process is his client’s own experiences, strengths, and values, which are formally assessed and used as a foundation for their growth. This approach is bolstered by Steve’s emphasis on action. His most successful clients actively apply concepts, experiment, and measure results to foster continuous learning.

Steve recognizes that traditional educational and training processes don’t always achieve the required outcomes. Consequently, he is committed to a client-centered approach. This creates high impact, teachable moments and high levels of accountability for leaders and groups, with improved performance as
the result.

In addition to coaching corporate leaders, he regularly works with teams and facilitates in-person and virtual leadership development programs.

Steve lives outside of Toronto Canada with his wife and daughter and when he’s not working you can find him kayaking class 3 and 4 whitewater in Ontario and Quebec.
